Amazing Sports Psychology Secret Hoarded by Superstar Athletes Eliminates Your Sports Anxiety, Gives You Unshakable Confidence and Mental Toughness, and Infuses You With the Courage to Win!
Canada's Top Mental Toughness Coach Reveals 3 Simple
Techniques for Astonishing Mental Strength, Belief in Yourself,
and the Will to Win Under Pressure.
Keep reading and you’ll find out about a secret mental toughness formula so potent (and easy) you’ll shake your head in amazement and wonder, “How could this have been successfully concealed for so long?”
Today you will learn how to stop killing your own will to win by discovering your innate ability to supercharge yourself with breakthrough confidence during big competitions, giving you the kind of “unfair” mental toughness advantage over your competitors you’ve only fantasized about until now.
Don’t believe it? National Team and Olympic athletes didn’t either at first…but now they are saying, “Traditional sports psychology is obsolete.”
This letter gives you the chance to:
- Deliver astonishing, explosive, flawless performances under pressure, no matter how intimidating your event is
- Create unshakable confidence in the hour before your event and maintain this confidence right to the finish despite distractions, setbacks, and adversity
- Transform yourself into a tough competitor with the will to win, able to crush opponents even without special advantages like speed, great technique, or stamina
- Break free of your self-limiting beliefs so you can go from good to world class in your sport
- Remain in a cocoon of concentration throughout your event so you stay focused and dominant
My name is Lisa Lane Brown and I’m an athlete too (in the Canadian ice sport of ringette, similar to ice hockey). I love my sport, but for the first 14 years of competing I was what you’d call a ‘mental marshmallow.’
I had wild confidence swings from one game to the next…I never knew why, and it hurt me all the time. Even when I practiced and prepared with 100% intensity, I’d often find a way to choke in big events.
Other times, I’d start out totally confident, only to face problem after problem – such as a poor start, an opponent who was ‘on fire’, or bad officiating. Pretty soon, I’d get a sinking feeling in my stomach that today wasn’t my day and it would go downhill from there.
My worst moment was losing the National Championship in 1991 with one second left on the clock. If you’ve ever worked hard to reach a goal–only to fail at the very end, you can guess how devastating this was. I had definitely choked in the biggest game of the year.
My coaches and friends said things like, “You just need to believe in yourself,” and “Don’t worry about it. You’ll do better next time.” But no matter what they said, these failures really ate me up inside. Secretly, I knew that my failures had something to do with my mental game, and not just my circumstances. I seriously considered quitting for good.
Fortunately I Was A Very Stubborn Athlete…
Obsessed With Finding “The Answer”
After years of choking too often, I decided to do something about it and embarked on a mission to find answers. These answers didn’t come overnight. I did all the traditional sports psychology stuff— (some of it was great, but some of wasn’t…and actually made me WORSE by crippling my will to win).
I threw out the ideas that didn’t work and spent several years carefully researching and testing new (even radical) mental toughness strategies on myself and other National Team and Olympic athletes in Canada. My stubbornness paid off. Through trial and error, I discovered mental toughness secrets I never would have thought about winning under pressure — even things that went against traditional sports psychology.
These are secrets that only superstar athletes have figured out and jealously guard from their competitors (not something a guy with a PhD read in a book). These secrets transformed my life as an athlete forever…
- By learning how to psyche up and infuse myself with unstoppable confidence before championship finals, I helped lead my team to 8 National Championship Gold Medals from 1992 to 2001.
- I changed my self-image as an athlete and became so consistent that I made Team Canada (including being named Team Captain by 1996).
And, to my astonishment,
By Dramatically Improving My Ability To Perform Under Pressure, I Scored The Winning Goals In The Dying Minutes of Three World Championships!
(Later I was humbled to be named to the Who’s Who of Canadian Sport and inducted into the Hall of Fame for my efforts).
I tell you this not to impress you, but to impress upon you that only by living and breathing these ideas personally in the heat of competition did I realize that….
Superstar Athletes Use An Amazingly Simple
Mental Toughness Formula To Bring Out Their Natural
Courage to Win® Under Pressure
Have you ever watched an athlete like Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, or Tiger Woods put on a display of incredible mental toughness? Where this athlete showed a profound ability to stay in control and triumph when facing setbacks and adversity? This is common for the ‘best of the best’ because these superstars have internalized a simple, effortless formula for amazing mental toughness under pressure – but while they chat in interviews about the importance of the mental strength, they rarely disclose their actual methods.
It’s Not A Fantasy For You At All…
You see, what I discovered had little to do with me and everything to do with this incredibly straightforward formula, because it brings out your own innate mental toughness. How does formula do it? Simple…by eliminating the 3 deadly mental errors virtually every athlete (even the highly talented) automatically makes when competing in big events.
The 3 Deadly Mistakes Athletes Make Under Pressure
Without EVER Realizing It…
Through my research and personal experience, I’ve found that these 3 mistakes will cripple your will to win under pressure:
Mistake #1: Trying to Control and PRESSING
Most athletes are obsessed with winning. They’re thinking about how to perform well and look good. They’re especially obsessed with not choking. Maybe you’ve been there yourself. I know I have. Many, many times. The obsession with performing well and winning usually comes with another impulse: TRYING TO CONTROL – your confidence, your performance, and winning. This leads to pressing, which deteriorates your performance. Here are some of the signs of an athlete pressing:
- He interferes with his technique rather than letting his body lead. If he’s a tennis player, he’ll try to guide and steer the ball, which messes up his strokes and erodes his game. If he’s a basketball player, he’ll try to ‘do it all himself’ and drive to the basket every time instead of reading the defense. If she’s a swimmer, she’ll focus on her opponent instead of executing her own race plan.
- He pressures himself to be emotionally perfect. He wants himself to be calm, cool, and collected at all times, even when it’s natural for him to be a little nervous or frustrated. Anytime he isn’t feeling 100% confident, he becomes unglued about his mental game.
- He pressures his teammates to play better, he pressures his coach to make changes, and he pressures officials to shape up. He takes his focus off the event and puts it on stuff he can’t control.
Mistake #2: Not Knowing How to Defeat Your “Demon” Stressor
Did you know that there is one thing that makes you lose your confidence more quickly than anything else—and that this stressor is completely unique to you? While there are many stressors you can face in competition (a mistake, a bad start, negative coach), one of these affects you more than all of the others combined. I call this your “demon stressor”.
Your demon is the stressor that will cause you to lose your confidence unless you have the proper mental toughness antidote for it. Sadly, even confident athletes can fall victim to losing their confidence when their demon shows up. If you want to perform your best under pressure, figuring out what your demon is and defeating it is a MUST.
Ignoring his demon stressor is what almost cost superstar Andre Agassi his entire career. Agassi’s demon was any error on the court that made him feel shame, because he was an intense perfectionist. By dealing with this demon stressor well, he turned his whole life around. Let’s talk about Mistake #3…
Mistake #3: Over-Criticizing Yourself
Have you ever criticized yourself for getting frustrated or performing poorly? You might find this shocking, but here’s the truth: Frustration is not the problem. It’s perfectly natural to get mad if you’re under-performing. Also, briefly under-performing is Ok too. Sometimes an opponent out-smarts you or you get hit by a weird setback.
It’s how you CHANNEL your frustration that counts. Most athletes make the mistake of channeling their anger inwards, towards themselves. They over-criticize themselves in a way that’s destructive.
This is the same thing as being too hard on yourself. If this describes you, not only are you going to be on an emotional roller coaster when you compete, but you’ll be a bad student of your sport. Here’s why. As long as you are over-criticizing yourself, you cannot get to your good feelings about yourself. When you self-criticize in a destructive way, you are creating shame.
You are basically saying to yourself, ‘I’m not good enough.’ Unconsciously, you are assuming you cannot get the performance you want from yourself. This is based on a view of yourself that says, ‘I can’t do it.’ There is a better way to channel your frustration for better performance, and all superstars know it, including Tiger Woods. When Tiger was young and hit bad shots, his Buddhist mother reminded him that he was human, capable of making mistakes. The secret was not to make the same mistake twice by channelling his anger properly.
Your “Secret Weapon” for Performing Flawlessly Under Pressure…No Matter What
So how do you develop the intangible mental toughness factor? Well…as you can imagine…most athletes have never been taught this stuff…in fact, most athletes try not to think about their nerves. They just want their fears and frustrations to go away, and they want mental toughness to just happen. Even if they wanted to learn mental toughness, they probably wouldn’t know where to go.
For over 14 years now I’ve worked with thousands of professional and weekend athletes, just like you… helping them master the intangible mental toughness factor. I currently serve more than 3,752 online athletes in over 12 countries including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Great Britain, and the United States.
Olympic and National Team athletes in many sports including tennis, hockey, basketball, volleyball, soccer, triathalon, badminton, golf, speed skating, fencing, softball, figure skating, and curling have routinely paid $500 per session for private coaching.
Now, I’ve put together the definitive mental toughness for sport guide that literally any athlete can use to help himself (or herself) perform flawlessly under pressure no matter what. Remember, I made it my mission to find what REALLY works when it comes to peak performance under pressure…and discover how any athlete can train himself to cultivate it naturally in training and competition.
This formula has been painstakingly tested on over 2,200 elite athletes in the past 16 years to verify its effectiveness. I’ve taken the time to put the Courage to Win® in Sport mental toughness formula in in plain, easy-to-understand system. Here Are Some of the Secrets You’ll Learn Inside
My Informative System
**Warning: This system is not a re-hash of traditional sport psychology techniques such as goal-setting, visualization, or positive thinking. It goes way deeper than most of these techniques and will literally ‘blow the lid off’ what you’ve been hearing for years…
- The Root Cause of Underachievement in Sport. There is a little-known, yet widely acclaimed breakthrough discovery in psychology in the 20th century that, for the first time ever, revealed the root cause of underachievement in sport. Armed with this powerful secret, you will be able to render yourself impervious to underachievement and ascend to never-before-imagined heights in your athletic career.
- Never Dread Performance Anxiety Again. Discover the strategy for expertly reducing performance anxiety in yourself, no matter what form it takes: nerves, passivity, or choking. Using this simple strategy, you will have the capacity to cure performance anxiety with lightening speed.
- GAME FACE. How to psyche up the day of competition using a dynamite pre-competition routine so you are relaxed, confident, and totally prepared to win.
- How to Deal with Adversity in Competition. Most athletes are not in control of their performance. If circumstances are good, they perform well; but when things don’t go their way, they tend to perform poorly. The very best athletes know exactly how to re-focus when bad things happen to them in competition. I will show you exactly how to identify your stressors and how to overcome them so you can stay on your “A” game no matter what.
- Three Giant Mistakes Athletes Make With Their Inner Game. Virtually every failure in sport can be attributed to one of three mistakes: trying to control the outcome, over-criticizing yourself, or getting blown away by a major distraction. If you suffer from any of these three mistakes, you will learn how to escape them once and for all.
- The Power of Being A “Tough Competitor” – How to steel yourself for certain highly charged, emotional competitive situations so you are ready when such confrontations come around (from hockey superstar Wayne Gretzky himself).
- How to Cure the Fear of Failure. The dilemma? It’s that most sport psychology ‘techniques’ for confidence (affirmations, positive thinking) pump you up temporarily, but the moment you stop using them, the fear comes back. This is because these ‘techniques’ do not address the root cause of fear and low confidence. You will finally learn the real antidote to fear and how to use Olympic sprinter Michael Johnson’s sneaky trick for curing it when the pressure seems unmanageable. You won’t believe the inner security this knowledge will provide.
- Why Positive Thinking Is Overrated. If you are haunted by self-limiting beliefs such as ‘I can’t’, or ‘I’m not enough’, there’s a reason…and it IS curable using a radical alternative to positive thinking.
- The Magic of ‘E.V.’ – Every top performer uses this technique to restore momentum when his confidence, motivation, and discipline temporarily falter. This magical technique astonishes even the most cynical of cynics by injecting them with surprising energy and confidence.
- Mark Tewksbury’s mental secret for capturing an Olympic gold medal in swimming (it will surprise you!)
- Professional musician John Molo’s method for laughing at negative emotions when the pressure is on (that he learned playing the Grammy awards!)
- A 5 minute exercise that you can use to identify your “demon” – your demon is the one stressor that causes you to lose confidence in competition. Use this knowledge to put together a devastatingly powerful plan for defeating your “demon” when it shows up in competition.
- The REAL reason why ignoring fear causes you to choke, and what Olympic swimmer Alex Bauman did to erase self-doubt and win a gold medal.
- What to do when you’ve suffered a traumatic defeat that seems unbearable (Trust me. This is a situation you must address or risk choking again and again).
- The key to preparing for the unique stressors and distractions of high level competitions you’ve never faced, such as provincial, national, and Olympic championships – from Jan Betker, Olympic curling champion.
- The “enemy of confidence” that will gradually eat away at your belief in your ability through the grind of competition…no matter how skilled and accomplished you are.
- And much, much, much more…
Here’s just a few of the great results athletes and coaches have had after discovering
The Courage to Win®
Genuine confidence is an absolute necessity if you want to reach your potential. I've worked with Lisa as a personal mental toughness coach and have accessed Lisa's talents in training teams I have coached.
SHANNON MILLER, OLYMPIC COACH, WOMEN'S HOCKEY
Lisa's work is very effective because she delivers the training at the level the clients need...and it's the type of training that you take with you and use on a daily basis towards success.
This course is changing me. It is changing everything about my life. I have learned how human beings work…not just in sport but in life in general. I have taught my family about the things you teach me. They are mesmerized by what I read them. To understand human emotion changes the way I think and look at myself, and others around me. I am growing.
LEAH HEPNER, FIGURE SKATING
Mental toughness training gives you confidence. It's helped me play well under pressure and cope with injuries. I think it's essential if you want to perform to your potential. You owe it to yourself to do mental toughness training, and Lisa Brown's work is so practical because she teaches you skills you can use right away.
STACY WILSON, OLYMPIAN, WOMEN'S HOCKEY
Lisa's mental toughness online program made me a 2 time World Champion. I was ready to conquer every possible distraction in international competition. I played my best, even in the most high pressure moments.
LAURA WARNER, TEAM CANADA, RINGETTE
Have you ever heard the adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"? Well, I was broke and I knew it. I knew Lisa was the person who could help me identify the root of my downward spiral. Lisa helped me "cut to the chase" and identify those things that were holding me back from attaining the mental edge I needed. Together we created a mental plan of attack that allowed me to stay empowered regardless of the circumstances.
LORI SIPPEL, OLYMPIAN, WOMEN'S SOFTBALL
After mental toughness, I am now a better player physically and mentally. I am able to apply my focus for success. The program put everything into perspective for me. Christine Parris-Washington
CHRISTINE PARRIS-WASHINGTON, OLYMPIAN, WOMEN'S SOFTBALL
I am a more focused, driven, and prepared player because of the Courage to Win®. Charmaine Reid
CHARMAINE REID, OLYMPIAN, BADMINTON
Lisa’s course was incredibly helpful. It’s odd because psychology is my favourite subject in school, but my mental game was seriously lacking. My favourite part would be doing the assignments, I find that they ensure that I’m taking in what is being taught and that I’m applying the lesson on the court.
MICHELLE STIPHOUT, UNIVERSITY BASKETBALL
Your information on mental toughness saved me a great deal of money. You made it so simple, be your own mental toughness coach! In the past I would wait for other people to tell me how good I was. Now I can create this confidence from the inside. My national show is at the end of the year and I know I will turn pro. Thank you!
JOELLA BERNARD, FINALIST, USA WOMEN’S HEAVY BODYBUILDING
Lisa’s on-line mental toughness programme has allowed our athletes, on an individual basis, to gain the mental toughness skills so necessary in today’s world of high performance curling. It’s a winner!
BILL TSCHIRHART, NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT COACH FOR THE CANADIAN CURLING ASSOCIATION
Mental toughness gave me the edge that I needed to become an elite curler. I had always been a good player, but weak mentally. I was able to overcome the one major obstacle that stood in my way. The mental toughness that I now have has helped in sport, life and my work. I am now better prepared to deal with people, because I am more confident.
BRAD KUHN, ELITE CURLER & HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER
I am 47 years old. Since I was a kid I liked to play tennis but at that time was expensive for my parents and they couldn`t afford it. Two years ago I had the chance to start having lessons, I thought that for this kind of sport you must start when you are a kid, but I was wrong. Soon I started to play matches and now I am playing in local tournaments.
DANY URRIZA, TENNIS PLAYER TIERRA DEL FUEGO, ARGENTINA
I have to play to 18 years old kids sometimes, and at 47 this is very tough but I like the challenge. Today against all predictions I won a tough match and I know your book helped me do it. I was most of the time down in the score, but I won anyway 4-6, 7-6, 7-6. For the first time I was able to maintain focus in the important moments in a very long match. Thank you very much!
-Dany Urriza
Mental toughness has the athletes confront their Inner barriers and access their self-confidence. I'm a better coach today because I know how to look beyond the x's and o's of the game. I relate to my athletes better.
SHAWNEE HARLE, HEAD COACH UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY BASKETBALL
At my World Triathlon Championship, your words were in my head throughout the event. I kept thinking about rhythm throughout the day. When we spoke, I told you my goal was to be top 10. I finished 9th. I finished with a PR. My previous fastest time in a race of this distance was 5:47. I was hoping to go 5:45. I finished in 5:39.
GAIL LOHMAN, TRIATHLETE
I am thrilled. Another exciting part is that my husband and I finished the race together. This has never happened before. Very cool that it happened in the World Championship. You really helped!
Lisa, you won't believe the impact "The Courage to Win®" had on my Junior Varsity Boys High School Volleyball team (gr10-11).
COREY COWPER, VOLLEYBALL COACH
It seemed whenever the team was in a playoff, they just could not win. For 2 full months we worked at skills and techniques to get over that hump of not being able to win the big games.
Nothing seemed to work. Here in front of me was an offer to purchase an Ebook, the exercises take only 7 days. I will be honest, I was very skeptical, but it was local to Calgary and I really did not have anything to lose, except the cost of the book! I purchased the book. In 5 minutes I walked through the visualization with them, breaking down the skill to very simple components having them see themselves performing the skill through their own eyes.
In a matter of 3 weeks the team went from not being able to win when it counts to losing not being an option, and our focus the entire time was never the win, but rather playing OUR style of game. I can't say enough about how this program has positively impacted my approach to coaching.
Lisa, thank you! My golf game is much more consistent. I am shooting 81-84 almost every time out. I am much more relaxed and able to experience my swing much more clearly. I have also begun to develop greater confidence in my short game. I am so confident I am eager to play with players who can beat me!
ARLENE YOST, GOLFER SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA
Lisa thank you so much for the Courage to Win! My competition was awesome. I won!!!!!! I also did a new personal best. Now my goal is to do it again at Nationals!
ISABELLE GYSI
I am a lawn bowler of three years and have improved dramatically since purchasing these. I have had many comments on how well I am playing. One of the men at our club told me today that he loves the way I do it. He said every time I go out, I go out to play. How good is that! I won the two bowls singles internal Club tournament, beating the girl who has “always” won it. I am loving it!
ANNE OTTO
We had become so focused on the fear of failure that we lost our confidence a lot. The mental toughness training we did with Lisa was invaluable because it allowed us to turn our focus on the game itself. More than anything, Lisa's training works because she uses a practical approach based on real experience...she even helped me become a better coach to my athletes.
BRENDA STANIFORTH, COACH CANADIAN OLYMPIC WOMEN'S SOFTBALL TEAM
Thank you very much miss Lisa for The Courage to Win® in Sport. Now I know what I need to do, I was missing a few steps. Thank you again, your answers have made my day!
MATTI BRANNAGAN
With the use of Lisa’s guidance, I have learned to manage the emotions causing the stress, and I have been successful in losing 45 lbs. I have never worked with a more intelligent, talented, inspirational, and committed professional whom you gain an immediate respect and trust for. With Lisa Brown, problems are just solutions waiting to happen.
HEATHER RANKIN, FINALIST, OLYMPIC CURLING TRIALS
This past March we made it to the gold medal match knocking off the previous OUA champs in 5 sets. Thanks to your candor, honesty, insight and adviceI was prepared to coach the many different personality styles my players had and be successful. You helped me understand myself this year and what I needed to do. I am way more confident in my coaching ability - thanks so much for everything you did to help me prepare for this year.
CAL WIGSTON, HEAD COACH MEN'S VOLLEYBALL UNIVERSITY OF GUELPH
Lisa, I purchased “the courage to win” about three weeks ago. I read it thoroughly and did all the exercises numerous times. After I had a much better understanding of my anxieties and learned how to focus my energy in a positive way. I just returned from the USA high school Senior National wrestling tournament. Before your material I placed 12th in the state of NJ.I knew I was much better than that. After using your material I just placed 3rd in the country for 130lbs. senior wrestlers. Thank you so much.I will continue to use this focus for life.
BJ YOUNG, MEN’S WRESTLING
I recently ordered The Courage to Win® in Sport ADVANCED Course and quickly absorbed Lesson 1, including the audio. The discussion on why winning is important made a significant impact on me and I shared it with my team. We participated in a bonspiel on the past weekend without having been on the ice this year yet…Our goal was to come home with a winning record having made progress on communication systems …we lost our first game – a close one — but then went on to win 7 straight and take home the Championship Flight prize! After each win we celebrated not so much the win but the satisfaction of knowing the win showed we were “evolving” and “growing” as individuals and as a team. You would have been amazed at how that shift in perception about winning and losing created a positive environment over the entire weekend. Honestly – this one lesson I learned has been worth the cost of the program! Jan Pula
JAN PULA, LAURENTIAN UNIVERSITY VARSITY CURLING COACH
Mental toughness training allowed us to turn our focus on the game itself. It is a practical approach based on real experience...she even helped me become a better coach to my athletes.
BRENDA STANIFORTH, COACH, CANADIAN OLYMPIC WOMEN'S SOFTBALL TEAM
Doing mental toughness training with Lisa has made THE difference in my athletic career it's the reason I'm still a successful, competing athlete today. Mental toughness training completely changed my ability to perform AND my confidence level.
KIRSTEN SWAN, UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM
Lisa you helped me through a recent Karate competition. I have been above average and even had some moments of triumph and learned something hew from each situation – the new way you are discussing is great! Quite frankly I’ve also take that same mentality as I search for a job right now.
JENNIFER BLAKENSHIP
Lisa thank you for giving ME the right focus for a coach - and that is being positive and patient while we work on our skill development even if it means re-teaching something I have already taught them. Sometimes an athlete will lose confidence in themselves, and lose a skill, it is our job as coaches to find ways to help them regain their confidence and belief in what they are able to do. You gave me just the tools I needed to get my athletes to overcome their fears.
TODD SADER, ELITE GYMNASTICS COACH
Lisa I wanted to write and say thank you from my son and myself for The Courage to Win® in Sport and to let you know what a difference it has made in my son’s bowling game.My son, Matt, is a 17 year old High School Junior who has been on his school’s bowling team for 3 years. My son was bowling well at the beginning of the season, was not a varsity starter (5 man varsity team), but an alternate.
KEITH BARROS
We purchased the system at the beginning of the season and he read it over the Thanksgiving break. Within the first week of coming back from the break, he was starting varsity. By the Christmas break he was the number 3 man on the starting varsity squad. He felt the system had helped him to focus and be mentally tough enough to out bowl his competitors and his team mates.
At the beginning of last week he felt he was in a bit of a slump, so on Wednesday night he refreshed himself with it. At Thursday and Friday’s matches, he had high game and high series for his team at both matches.
However, his success didn’t end there.
On Saturday at his home town’s sponsored high school tournament, he bowled a perfect 300 game.
12 solid strikes!
This is only the 6th time in the 24 year history of the tournament that a 300 has been bowled. In the 10th frame, as he bowled the 3 strikes, he had close to 300 people watching him.
A reporter from The Newark Star-Ledger was present and interviewed him. Here is my son’s quote: `I was able to keep my focus, keep my eyes on the target and my hand behind the ball,’ said Barros, who averages 202. `When I was going for my last three strikes, I didn’t realize anyone was here. It was just me and the lane.’
His comment to me after he had calmed down was, ‘thanks for getting me that system, it really helped me to stay focused.’
The system and your email tips have had a huge impact on my son’s bowling career. It really is a great formula!
Sincerely, Keith Barros
Lisa,
FRANK VAN LERVEN, 3RD RANKED DUTCH 60+ TENNIS PLAYER
I played a practise (1 ½ hr) match with a promising Swiss 14 yr old at our club. He hits the ball hard, wants to become a professional etc etc. I have played him a few times. The last time was a year ago. He beat me then. And, of course, he gets better every year.
I decided to put my pre-match routine in practise, even though it was not a real match. Just to have the experience.
And…
I played inspired, energized from the start.
I also had adopted a “winning” attude. To meet him blow-to-blow on velocity and aggression, come to the net when I could etc etc. Not to wait till he would start to make mistakes or mentally break down.
It was terrific. I played well from the start. But it got to 0-3 15-40. I hang in, kept believing and the tide started to turn. By 4-4 he started to change tactics (as he could not keep up with me at the back of the court!!), throwing balls in the air and so forth. I had the upperhand. I made mistakes too but on the deciding point (a running volley) to get me to 6-6 I played the volley with confidence (visualised before). It was then time. He rather did not want to play the tie break..
I felt great and the champion was fully there. My coach saw a bit, and said, he saw a “different me” on the court. One he always had know was there!
To me it felt Easter Sunday came today!!
Wouldn’t it be heavenly to be able to predict your performance in big competitions? To take the guesswork out of it? To know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you can trust yourself to deliver a peak performance on demand?
Would you like to learn how to trigger breakthrough confidence inside yourself before your event–and maintain it? Are you tired of the stress of never knowing whether you will “show up” on game day…race day…competition day?
Do you want to break free of the shame that follows you when you choke? Would you like to escape the nagging fear that you’ll never reach your true potential, and that your chances for lasting achievement are slipping away? Do you ever feel underrated by your coach or teammates and wonder if you’ll get the recognition you deserve from them? Are you tired of feeling so anxious before big events that you wish you could quit?
Can You REALLY Become Mentally Tough Just By Using
The Courage to Win® Formula?
I’m going to level with you. I can’t give you mental toughness. No one can. You develop mental toughness in training and competition. What I can give you is something only a precious few athletes know, and that’s exactly HOW to approach training and competition so you become more mentally tough every time you compete.
Will it work for everyone? Of course not. While this formula is astonishingly easy to use, not everyone is willing to follow through and try it.
But what if this knowledge gives you that one title, trophy, or medal you’ve always wanted? Or, what if this helps you really, truly have fun while competing? Or rescues your motivation from the brink? What would that be worth to you?
What if there’s even a chance that this definitive guide can actually teach you how to be one of the top athletes in your sport? What if you can really learn how to be one of those athletes with the will to win, the kind who makes everyone around her better? What would that be worth to you? A thousand dollars? Ten thousand? For most athletes and coaches I know, it would be priceless.
One thing is for sure: sometime soon, you’re going to be in a situation that demands the courage to win…and you’ll be very grateful you discovered these secrets.
Here’s Exactly What You Get In
